Klippan House in the Forest Throw Blanket
The House in the Forest throw in brown is made of 50% recycled wool & 50% eco-lambs wool by Japanese designer Akira Minagawa. The definition of lambs wool is the first shearing of the sheep that is no older than six months. During later years we have also been able to produce throws in ecologic lambs wool. The ecologic lambs wool is totally free of pesticides and no chemicals or antibiotics have been used during the breeding of the sheep.
"In our factory, we work to reduce our waste. As part of this strategy, we have developed a range of products made from 50% recycled wool from our own manufacturing. As the collected wool is a mix of several different productions, the yarn gets a wonderful color variation in the grey/brown yarn."
Klippan Yllefabrik AB was founded in 1879. Today, the fourth and fifth generations are working side by side, developing the company. Our philosophy is to combine Swedish design with our long tradition of textile knowledge.
