Lapuan Kankurit Viiva Runner
The VIIVA pattern is a Dora Jung design classic from 1959.
Dora Jung (1906–1980) was once known as a bold innovator, a pioneer in handicrafts and a developer of weaving techniques, with a unique sense of aesthetics, colors and shapes and the ability to handle even the finest grades of linen. Dora Jung's design garnered the most significant domestic and international awards in its field.
Dora Jung was a craftsman with a soul and heart for whom working in textiles was a lifelong endeavor. The idea of the most beautiful everyday life of ordinary Finnish homes inspires her. Now, more than forty years later, Dora Jung's stunning linen textiles are being reborn in the Lapua Kankureide weaving mill.
