Vintage Iisakki Järvenpää Oy Knife Set
This set of 6 cheese/spreader knives were made in Finland from "ruostumaton" or rust-proof metal, with curly birch wood handles. They display in a fan arrangement on a triangular base. They date from the 60's and have a fun mid-century aesthetic.
The Iisakki Järvenpää Company was founded in 1879 and is the largest manufacturer of knives in Kauhava, Finland, a well-known town which has a long and rich history of knife making. Their knife handles are made from locally sourced curly birch wood. Fittings were produced internally at their factory.
Each blade reads "Iisakki Järvenpää Oy" on the metal.
5.25" long knives.
