Rookwood founder Maria Longworth Nichols Storer made history on Thanksgiving Day in 1880, with Rookwood becoming the first large manufacturing enterprise founded and owned by a woman in the United States. Long before “handcrafted” became a trend, Rookwood artisans were devoted to using the finest ingredients, one-of-a-kind design and expert craftsmanship. Each tile, each vase, and every item is the perfect harmony of exquisite color, unique form, and eye-catching design to bring functional works of art into your world.
The Water Lily vase design dates to 1948 and is approximately 6" high and 5" diameter. We have this design in turquoise & spring green, and both are in great vintage condition. Original dated stamp on the bottom of each.
