Iittala Birds by Toikka “Flycatcher”
Iittala Birds by Toikka “Flycatcher”
Finnish design legend Oiva Toikka’s iconic collection of Iittala glass birds took flight in 1972. Drawing from nature and Toikka’s passion for blown glass art, each bird is unique down to the minute detail. This gives every bird its own personality making it a truly one of a kind art object. Handcrafted and mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory, the collection embodies a rich fusion of glassmaking traditions and Toikka’s artistic partnership with his team of master craftsmen. Iittala relaunched the beloved Birds by Toikka Willow Grouse which features a soft, natural colour inspired by the real bird from Lapland and a clear head and beak. A thoughtful gift.
Iittala relaunched legendary designer Oiva Toikka’s Flycatcher bird from the 1970s. Reflects light beautifully. An elegant home decoration that makes a precious gift. Mouth blown in Finland.
