This lovely, and large, vintage floral glass vase (or umbrella stand!) was etched by Franz Grosz. The floral design etched on the vase appears to be a daffodil bloom with foliage.
Franz Grosz was a versatile artist skilled in multiple forms of media, including glass. Rather than being employed by a glass firm, he acquired blank pieces independently to etch and distributed them through his own company as well as via his agent.
Dimensions: approx. 19" tall x 7" wide. This vase is in good vintage condition, wear consistent with age and use. There is a small chip on the inside top edge of the vase, as shown in photos. Artist signature is on the top of the vase, as shown in photo.
