1940's Russel Wright Square Chartreuse Serving Tray

Russell Wright was a noted American industrial designer whose American Modern ceramics made by Steubenville have become a beacon of classic midcentury tableware. It was the most widely sold American ceramic dinnerware in history, manufactured between 1939 and 1959. Wright's approach to design came from the belief that the dining table was the center of the home. 

The serving dish measures 13''x 13" dates to the 1940's and features the turned up rounded edges that his tableware design is known for. It has the authenticity stamp of "Russell Wright mfg. by Steubenville on the bottom.

In great vintage condition with no chips. Minor surface wear from age.
