This beautiful iridescent finger bowl was created by Frederick Carder for Steuben Glass Works during the early 1930s. The “Verre de Soie”, French for “glass of silk”, is known for its soft, shimmering surface that reflects hues of gold, purple, and blue. Considered one of Carder’s favorite creations, this piece showcases Steuben’s artistry and technical mastery in glassmaking.
Originally sold at Rockwell Gallery in Corning New York, has sticker in the back.
Size: 2¼" high × 4¾" diameter
Condition: Good; no chips, cracks, minimal sticker residue.
