Vintage Hector Aguilar Taxco Sterling Silver Cufflinks

Stamped on sides of the bar with the Hector Aguilar signature stamp & 940, and the eagle stamp indicative of Mexican Taxco Sterling Silver.

Hector Aguilar was born in Mexico City, 1905. He founded the spectacular Taller Borda Studio in Taxco, Mexico where he influenced and worked with several important silversmith designers.

His legacy endures in the continuing reverence for Taxco silver and in the recognition of Mexican silversmithing as one of the great artistic traditions of the 20th century.
