Lapuan Kankurit Aika Blanket

AIKA-blanket with fringes is 100 % wool and contains local Finnsheep wool. This blanket is comfortable even on bare skin. The timeless wide pinstripe can add a cozy accent to modern & traditional spaces. The blanket is lovely lightweight thickness, but it has also the warmth that real wool provides.

"Preserving and developing Finnish textile tradition is important to us, which is why we started collecting local wool from Finnish sheep farms for industrial use. A key motivation for the project was that a large portion of the wool had previously gone to waste. We also rebuilt the production chain that had disappeared from Finland. Now we control the entire wool production process and engage in unique product development while passing on our expertise to future generations."
