Samu-Jussi Koski is an awarded Finnish fashion designer, whose career highlights include working as the Creative Director of Marimekko and founding of his own company, Samuji. Samu-Jussi fell in love with fashion at a young age, and throughout the years has come to appreciate it from a more sustainable, lasting perspective. His interests lie in creating beautiful, functional items that stand the test of time through both their design and quality. Samu-Jussi finds inexhaustible inspiration in discovery, and his boundless curiosity for new things empowers him to explore new avenues fearlessly. Samu-Jussi’s first designs for Lapuan Kankurit, called HIETSU and TÖÖLÖ are an ode to his ideal Helsinki. The designs play with the scales and proportions of the windows and architecture of the city that holds a very dear place in his heart.
Linen is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin, it’s very absorbent and dries very fast. For these reasons linen is an excellent material for towels. 100% washed linen has been wash treated during our production process, this is how we get the outstanding absorption capacity.
This product is made out of 100% linen. Ecological flax is grown in Normandy, Europa and it is traceable 100% european Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn. All yarns are spun as well as dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.
