The LAKEUS blanket draws its inspiration from the wide, open landscapes of Ostrobothnia, where our weaving mill is located. Its colours evoke long horizons, tranquil fields, shimmering water and the distant line of the sky.

Timeless and understated, it offers more character than a solid-coloured blanket while remaining subtler than a figurative pattern. The wool blend includes Finnish sheep’s wool, adding natural warmth and a beautifully lively texture.

The Finnsheep wool used in each blanket is collected by us from local farms within approximately 400 km of Lapua. We have invested over three million euros in a continuous finishing facility for wool textiles in Lapua, enabling us to bring back lost industrial expertise in wool processing to Finland. Today, our skilled weavers and finishers craft these beautiful wool textiles right in the heart of Ostrobothnia, Finland.
