Lapuan Kankurit Metsalampi Towels
Lapuan Kankurit Metsalampi Towels
Metsalampi is a collaboration between Japanese designer Akira Minagawa & Lapuan Kankurit. The style of Akira Minagawa, the mastermind behind the minä perhonen brand, is often described with words such as romantic, naïve and imaginative. Akira himself doesn’t submit to a particular style – to him, everything starts with his own memories, which he wishes to bring to life. The METSÄLAMPI design represents the Finnish landscape with its bountiful forests, mountains and bodies of water. This collection is brimming with whimsical designs full of color and joy.
Washed linen doesn’t necessarily need any ironing, small wrinkles are allowed, even desired for! Linen is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin, it’s very absorbent and dries very fast. For these reasons linen is an excellent material for towels. 100% washed linen has been wash treated during our production process, this is how we get the outstanding absorption capacity.
Lapuan Kankurit is part of a Masters of Linen organisation, that means that all the linen we use is the best European quality. The products are woven in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.
This product is made out of 100% linen. Ecological flax is grown in Normandy, Europa and it is traceable 100% european Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn. All yarns are spun as well as dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.
