The Putkinotko pattern cotton sateen cushion cover is printed in Helsinki. The cover has a zipper on one side. Our cushion covers are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.
The cover is made of 100% organic cotton sateen.
Maija Isola designed the Putkinotko (title of a classic Finnish novel) fabric in 1957 as part of the Luonto (nature) series, in which real plants were used to create photogram-like prints. Putkinotko features wild angelica whose leaves have already withered away, leaving behind the stalk and the semi-spherical seed heads.
