One of a kind botanical cyanotype cards made by the Botanical Collective. Each card is a unique and original cyanotype print made with real flowers, leaves and botanicals.
Cyanotype printing, also known as sun printing, is a classic, camera-less photographic method that uses sunlight to create striking, white on deep blue images. By coating paper or fabric with a special light-sensitive solution, you can place objects like leaves or stencils on top and expose them to the sun. Washing the print in water washes away the unexposed chemicals, permanently locking in a beautiful, crisp white-on-blue design.
These cards measure 5" x 6.5", they are blank inside and come with white envelopes.
