Vintage Aquarelle “inland” (1963)

Set in a quality varnished wooden frame, “inland” is an original vintage aquarelle and ink painting produced October 25th, 1963. The total framed work measures 16.5” x 8” x approx .5”. The back of the work features a Krumbholz Fine Arts sticker, which operated as a gallery in Milwaukee, WI since 1899 following its founding by J.O. Krumbholz. The gallery was acquired by Mr. and Mrs. James H. Twelmeyer in 1978. Much of the earlier work in the Krumbholz gallery was sourced from Munich - however, both the name of the artist and its origins have not been found.
