This beautiful mid-century modern salt and pepper set was designed by Egon Lauridsen (ELA) in Denmark. Crafted from sterling silver and finished with rich cobalt blue enamel, each shaker features a delicate mushroom shape with finely patterned tops, one with a single dispensing hole and the other with several. The enamel is in good condition with no chips or cracks, and the silver has interior tarnish from use with salt and pepper and the exteriors has minimal tarnish from age. A striking example of Danish craftsmanship and timeless design. Marked "Ela Denmark" & Sterling
