Wisconsin artist Evelyn Gebhardt hand carved this beautiful "Castor Plant" artwork in 1937. It was on display with the Wisconsin Artist Federation at the Milwaukee Art Institute in 1938.
Not much is known about this artist online, but her talent shines on through this work of art.
"Castor Plant" measures approximately 11" x 19", and has the Wisconsin Artist Federation tag fully intact on the back. It is also signed and dated.
