A trio of adorable leaded-crystal glass birds from Hadeland of Norway. There are two smaller birds and one larger, we like to think of them as a mama and her baby birds. They are sold individually, but it would be so sweet to purchase all three and enjoy this little trio together!
The two smaller birds are very similar in size and shape, but have subtle differences. One has a slightly more turned up beak and there is a little variation in the size of their tails.
These crystal birds are in great vintage condition. The Hadeland Norway sticker includes "Hand made full lead crystal 30% Pbo Krystall". Hadeland is also etched on the bottom of each bird.
Hadeland Glassworks is Norway's oldest continually operating industrial company, founded in 1762. Hadeland is renowned for high quality, hand blown crystal and glass art. Their products include a range of items from art glass, tableware and lighting, often highlighting Scandinavian design.
Small birds measure approximately 1.5" 1.5" and larger bird measures 2.25" x 2.25".
