This vintage 1910's-1920's block printing stamp / paperweight represents an important piece of Milwaukee history. It was used by the Luick Ice Cream Company, once the largest ice cream producer in the United States during the early 20th century. Founded by John Luick in Milwaukee, Luick was known for innovations such as selling “bricks” of take-home ice cream and developing machinery that evenly mixed fruits and nuts into their products.
This piece was sold exclusively at the company’s Milwaukee store on Van Buren Street.
