Vintage Mexican Silver screw back chandelier style earrings featuring a floral motif and a scalloped dangle bottom. These are a similar design to renowned silver artist Matilde Poulat's work, however her signature MATL hallmark is not on the earrings. They could have been made by someone working for Poulat's brand, or her nephew Ricardo Salas who worked closely with Poulat and made similar work, however his own hallmarks are not present either. Poulat's work was often imitated and copied by others, a form of recognition and flattery in itself. Though they may not be original MATL, they are still well crafted and highly collectible Mexican silver earrings.
In great vintage condition with wear and patina consistent with age.
